This children’s book I wrote (Salem Impact) is one of my highest selling books about the Salem Trials of 1692. One of the stories is about Rebecca Nurse. She was one of the ladies that was tried for witchcraft. She was acquitted, but someone in the court yelled. “Oh but she is one of us!” Immediately, Rebecca Nurse was tried a second time for the same crime, this time with a guilty verdict and an appointment with the gallows. 100 years later, our forefathers came up with the Double Jeopardy Clause which made it illegal to try someone for the same crime.
Today, Dec. 20, 2022; history seems to have repeated itself with another witch hunt more referred to as the January 6th Committee. The four criminal referrals should not come as a surprise to anyone, as they were predetermined since the first this kangaroo committee met to try Donald Trump for something he was acquitted for during his 2nd Impeachment. This is how WOKE Witch Hunts work (Or any witch hunt for that matter). This committee doesn’t care about Double Jeopardy or the U.S. Constitution. The Double Jeopardy Travesty in 1692 tragically ended the life of Rebecca Nurse who was one of the strongest Christian Women in Colonial America; but there was Poetic Justice. This event with Rebecca Nurse also brought a swift end to one of the most self-righteous and biased religious sects in U.S. History–The Puritan Movement. Remember, Double Jeopardy didn’t even exist yet. As for this current Double Jeopardy Escapade with Donald Trump, This could be the ultimate end of Donald Trump; however, 1) It won’t erase all the hate you feel towards this man, and 2) there could be Poetic Justice with the Donald Trump Incident just as there was with the Rebecca Nurse Incident. This could be the ultimate end of the sect called WOKE– the real traitors in America.
